KUNGSBACKA, Sweden, March 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Elanders has signed a contract with AB Sandvik Coromant covering graphic production, production development and systems to rationalise production processes for product catalogues. The contract which runs for five years includes globally production for Sandvik Coromant and contains production volumes to a number of Elanders' sites.
Elanders and Sandvik Coromant, which is a global leader in hard metal tools and tool systems for metalworking, have during the last year worked intensively on a joint project concerning publishing routines. Its aim has been to rationalise the flow of product information production - from its creation through all the processes right up to delivery of the information in print or digital form.
"Since we launch approximately 2,000 new products every year we have very high demands on our publishing routines. Besides saving time and money our objective with this collaboration is to open up for more efficient and more targeted market communication," states Pernilla Eriksson, Senior Manager Marketing Support, AB Sandvik Coromant.
This collaboration includes global production for Sandvik Coromant and contains production volumes for several Elanders units.
