LINKOPING, Sweden, March 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- CSM Materialteknik AB has today given notice to the County Employment Board regarding 20 white-collar employees in Linkoping.
"Having to shed good co-workers is of course very unfortunate, but necessary. The company will be doing its best to support the personnel involved," says the company's President, Goran Lindstrom.
The action has to be taken as incoming orders, capacity utilization and financial results decreased dramatically at the end of 2003, and considering the present market situation there are no signs of improvement in the immediate future.
The relevant union organizations have been informed.
CSM Materialteknik AB is a Saab company operating in Linkoping and Jarfalla, Sweden. The company has 128 employees and performs testing, consultation services and training within materials- and process technology.
