LONDON and NEW YORK , March 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- BNP Paribas (Pink Sheets:BNPQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Drew Gross to the position of Head of FX Sales and Marketing in North America.
Based In New York, Drew was previously running the Corporate FX Sales teams in North America. He and the FX Sales teams are charged with broadening BNP Paribas' FX client franchise throughout all sectors, and will endeavour to co-ordinate business development initiatives within the Corporate and Investment bank.
Drew will continue to report to Nigel Babbage, Head of Foreign Exchange Trading and Sales in North America and Global Head of Currency Options, as well as to Ligia Torres, Global Head of FX Sales and Marketing.
Lars Andren joins the Nordic Sales desk in London, he will assist in marketing to BNP Paribas' Nordic corporate and financial institutional clients. He will report to Chris Dunne, Head of Nordic FX Sales. Prior to joining BNP Paribas, Lars worked for 6 years at the Swedish National Debt Office in Stockholm where he was responsible for managing the currency overlay programme and trading FX.
