Cal-Bay Analytical, Inc. Receives Purchase Order

TUSTIN, Calif., March 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Cal-Bay International, Inc.'s (OTCBB:CBYI) wholly owned subsidiary, Cal-Bay Analytical, Inc. has recently been successful in negotiating a purchase order with DataChem of Salt Lake City, Utah for a SmartChem automated wet-chemistry analyzer to be supplied by Westco Scientific Instruments, located in Danbury, Connecticut.

Cal-Bay Analytical is the exclusive sales representative for Westco Scientific Instruments in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California. The value of this purchase order is over $50,000, and according to Bob Thompson, President of Cal-Bay Analytical, "The analyzer to be supplied on this order will be used to perform automated wet-chemistry tests that ordinarily would have been very labor intensive. This is the second Westco SmartChem analyzer order received by Cal-Bay Analytical since this product line was added to our list of available products only a few months ago, and based on the recent level of interest from other laboratories, we believe that there will be an excellent market for this product in the future."

Cal-Bay International, Inc. is a publicly traded company currently trading on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB:CBYI). Cal-Bay Analytical, Inc. was formed in 2003 as a manufacturer's sales representative and distributor of laboratory instrumentation and related products and services.
