All the Things Under the Sun - New Book of Poems Finds All of the Wonderful Possibilities of Life

ARLINGTON, Va., March 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Poetry does not have to be stuffy and boring; just as life does not have to be routine or mundane. Tracy C. Taylor knows how to have fun. Her new collection, Wondering Ardor (now available through 1stBooks), is a romp through a playground of poetry where life is not always so boring and the day holds whatever one's imagination can think up.

Taylor skips through her verses with a lighthearted, whimsical air as she examines a life less ordinary. Wondering Ardor is not marred by mundane melancholy musings or lofty laments of love. Rather, Taylor frolics in the fun field of imagination and lives on the lighter side of life. Taylor lets readers into her private world where her thoughts, daydreams and fears mingle under a sky created by her mind's whim.

Wondering Ardor is comprised of a collection of poems that seeks out the fun moments in life, expresses sarcasm and satire and traverses the tides of her thoughts. Taylor takes readers places where they can "Rock the Hospital," witness a woman's last thoughts as she makes her way down the wedding aisle and attend the marriage of rock and classical music. In her poem, "What Will This Day Bring?" she daydreams about the myriad of possibilities one day holds.

"I see clouds of blue and a road of black/ tall brown trees and a white Cadillac/ I hear birds and they love to sing/ Tell me now what will this day bring?/ I got two feet that hit the ground and/ I like the view as I look around/ The day is good and so is the sun/ upon the streets, I'm not the only one."

Wondering Ardor is more than just a book of poems. It is an example of the all the great possibilities and adventures life holds if one looks around with an open mind, a smile on their face and a little love in their heart.

Taylor is a graduate of George Mason University. She served four years in the Army and enjoys traveling around the world. Wondering Ardor is her second book of poetry. Her first book, The Journey (also available through 1stBooks), introduced her dreamy style to the world.
