ORLANDO, Fla., March 22, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Animation, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:RVNM), in association with MG Studios, are pleased to announce that they have retained former Walt Disney Animator Anthony Michaels to join their animation team.
Anthony Michaels has over ten years of animation experience with the Walt Disney Company and has worked on many feature films including "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin", "Pocahontas", and "Lilo & Stitch" among others. Mr. Michaels also adds video game animation experience to the Raven Animation team. He was an animator for the Aladdin Video Game and was the Co-Director for the Lion King Video Game.
As part of the agreement, MG Studios has agreed to pay Raven Animation and use the talented former Disney Animators for the projects that it currently has under contract from Raven Moon Entertainment Inc. Raven Moon Entertainment and JB Toys, LLC a wholly owned subsidiary of Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc., currently have a production agreement with MG Studios to produce "Gina D's Kids Club", "Mr. Bicycle Man", "Bo Bo Blocks", and "Cuddle Bug Cousins".
Raven Animation, Inc. previously hired David Murray, a former Disney-MGM animator, let go by the closing of the Disney animation studio in Orlando. David's work at Disney included the films "Mulan", "Lilo and Stitch" and "Brother Bear". Mr. Murray will be responsible for the development of the new "Mr. Bicycle Man" feature film for the big screen, with future plans including a series for television. Executive Producers Joey & Bernadette DiFrancesco just recorded the opening theme song and three other cuts with Gina D & The Transistor Sisters for the soundtrack of the film and television series.
Raven Animation previously announced plans to retain the former Disney animators and make them partners in their new animation company.
