Wall Street News Alert -- Aggressive Stock Watch! March 24, 2004, Part 2

WESTON, Fla., March 24, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: Oxford Ventures Inc. (OTCBB:OXFV), XOMA Limited (Nasdaq:XOMA), Alvarion Ltd. (Nasdaq:ALVR) and FARO Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:FARO).

Aggressive investors and NASCAR fans will want to take another look at Oxford Ventures Inc. (OTCBB:OXFV)! Recently, the company issued a press release announcing its plans for the sale of advertising space, or sponsorship, on its Xtreme Games ("XG") Racing Simulators!

This could be more great news for investors! Phase one of the sponsorship strategy will include sale of promotional space to businesses located near the sports grille that houses the XG Simulator. The second phase will be multiple car advertising by national firms. Similar to professional racecar sponsorship, several businesses will have the opportunity to promote their products on the car hood, front and back wheel panels, driver and passenger doors, and for those bars that have an upper level, on the roof of the vehicle. These advertising partners can purchase Simulator space, in six-month intervals that can be as small as a 6-inch-square area, or as large as a 36-inch-square area.

"The patron traffic that is generated from a sports grille generating over $1 million in revenue is extremely high," commented Daniel Leonard, Oxford's CEO. "Both regional and national businesses alike, whose demographic target is shared by these bars, will benefit from advertising on an XG Racing Simulator."

The consumer group whose purchase power drives this type of advertising venue is large and growing. A recent Gallop poll revealed that 28% of Americans are confirmed racing fans, individuals that commit a specific number of hours during the week to viewing and/or updating themselves on auto racing events. Of that total, 53% hold professional, managerial or skilled labor jobs and earn an average of $50,000 per year. Keep your eyes on this stock!

The stock closed yesterday at forty cents a share.

In case you are not familiar with the company: Xtreme Games, a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxford Ventures, is a virtual reality game company whose flagship product is a racecar simulator. The NASCAR(tm) Simulator is comprised of a full-size racecar body and computer system that serves up video, sound and specific racing footage to which the player/driver must respond. As drivers brake and steer, those commands are reflected in force feedback in the steering wheel and movements of the car itself. A hydraulic system moves the car in a full range of motion to create a racing experience that accurately reflects what it is like to actually drive in a NASCAR(tm) race. Xtreme Games Racing League(tm) is a trademark of Oxford Ventures, Inc.

NASCAR(tm) has been independently determined to be the country's fastest-growing spectator sport, with interest and demand for NASCAR(tm)-related products increasing at record levels. NASCAR is a registered trademark of NASCAR, Inc. Oxford Ventures is not related to NASCAR, Inc. or its racing series and is not a licensed user of the NASCAR trademark.

Stocks showing interesting activity yesterday were: XOMA Limited (Nasdaq:XOMA) down 3.1% on 1.3 million shares traded, Alvarion Ltd. (Nasdaq:ALVR) down 4.9% on 2.5 million shares traded and FARO Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq:FARO) down 2.5% on 581,300 shares traded.

Commentary: Wallet thinner

"The annual cost of health care for an obese person is $1,500 higher than that for an average size person. This by a survey of 178,000 people is in an article by Prevention Magazine. However, around 30% of Americans are considered obese in this country, and this has been a growing segment for the past 20 years," stated Sonja Rudd in Wall Street News Alert's daily commentary continued at: http://www.WallStreetNewsAlert.com.
