SSWM Awarded Follow-on Project in Mexico

Manufacturer Seeks Engineering Controls to Clean-up Site

CARLSBAD, Calif., March 31, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sub-Surface Waste Management of Delaware, Inc. (OTCBB:SSWM), announced it has been awarded a follow-on contract with a confidential U.S. based international manufacturing company with operations in Mexico to engineer pollution controls for constituents of concern that are used in fabrication at this active production facility site.

Bruce Beattie, President of SSWM stated, "SSWM will be undertaking an engineering design program to specify necessary controls, components and good housekeeping procedures under a comprehensive toxics management plan that includes employee training on the proper handling of hazardous materials used in the manufacturing process. Additionally, SSWM is presently completing a bio-feasibility study in crafting a remedial plan using our proprietary microbial blends to bioremediate subsurface constituents of concern inadvertently and historically released. SSWM's U.S. Patented system delivers and maintains a bio-reaction beneath the facility floor turning toxics into harmless carbon dioxide and water. All our microbial blends are natural 'non-genetically' engineered and approved as safe by the U.S. Department of Agriculture."
