Dialysis Corporation of America Opens new Pennsylvania Center


HANOVER, Md., April 5, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dialysis Corporation of America (Nasdaq:DCAI) announced the opening of a new facility in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, the company's sixth new center in the state.

Company President and CEO Stephen Everett commented, "This new facility, the construction of which was previously announced, received its medicare certification and is now open to serve the patients of the Pottstown area. We are excited to be continuing our expansion in Pennsylvania through the development of the Pottstown center, which is the company's third new facility this year."

The Pottstown dialysis facility, located near the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, offers state-of-the-art equipment and technology, has been designed with patient comfort in mind, and includes 18 treatment stations, along with a Peritoneal Suite for patients opting for that modality.

Dialysis Corporation of America owns and operates freestanding kidney hemodialysis centers located in Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia, and provides in-hospital dialysis services on a contract basis to certain hospitals located in the those states.
