LOS ANGELES, April 5, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Bio-Life Laboratories Corporation ("Bio-life") announced today that it has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Tecscan International, Inc. ("TecScan") (OTCBB:TSCN), a Seattle based company trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.
Bio-Life completed a Share Exchange Agreement with TecScan in which TecScan issued 35 million common shares, and Bio-Life became a wholly owned subsidiary of TecScan. TecScan intends to change its name to Bio-life Laboratories Corporation and will apply for a new trading symbol on the OTCBB.
Bio-Life Laboratories Corporation was formed in 2003 to introduce Carcinoderm, an ointment that has been used to successfully treat skin cancer patients with Basal Cell Carcinoma, Squamous Cell Carcinoma, and Melanoma in FDA-conforming clinical trials conducted by the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer David Karam, M.D., Ph.D.
