BioGentech's Trading Symbol Erroneously Receives "E"


IRVINE, Calif., April 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- BioGentech Corp. (OTCBB:BGTH), a pharmaceutical company specializing in over-the-counter anti-allergy medications, today announced that the letter "E" it received on its trading symbol by the OTCBB was given erroneously. The "E" is given by the OTCBB to companies that are late in filing their periodic reports with the SEC. BioGentech is a fully reporting company and currently is not late in filing any of its periodic reports. The Company reports on a fiscal year ending March 31st, most recently reporting its third quarter financials on February 23, 2004. The Company has advised the NASD of this error and expects to have the "E" removed from its trading symbol shortly.
