Global Diversified Industries, Inc. Wholly Owned Subsidiaries Receive More Than $3.3 Million in New Orders from Multiple School Districts

Increases Company's Backlog Capacity to Over $25 Million

CHOWCHILLA, Calif., April 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Diversified Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:GDVI), a Company focused on the modular building industry with emphasis on the education market, is pleased to announce it has received commitments from several California school districts to build new modular type classrooms, including associated site work, worth more than $3,300,000. The contracts will be executed immediately after appropriate school board approvals later this month.

Hamilton emphasized that "these forthcoming orders will provide our manufacturing plant with a production backlog through August 2004. Due to three production lines, we have plenty of capacity to increase our backlog for the remainder of the year to over $25 million and meet customer time requirements."

Deliveries on these projects are scheduled for late spring and throughout the summer of 2004. Many of the school districts have issued "Letters-0f-Intent," for the purpose of allowing Global Modular and MBS Construction to get underway expeditiously. The current projects involve eight school districts throughout the state and range in scope-of-work from standard relocatable classrooms to custom design structures for multi-purpose use. Also included in the project mix is site work construction involving concrete and utilities installation.

Global Diversified Industries, Inc. Chairman and CEO Phil Hamilton states, "Our assertive sales and marketing efforts from prior months are starting to pay off. We stated in earlier news releases that our inquiry and quote activity was on the rise and the results are materializing." Hamilton added that "all of the anticipated orders are from districts who have bought from other manufacturers and dealers in the past. They expressed their decision to buy from Global Modular and MBS Construction due in-part to our ability to handle multi-task projects within their time frame, an apparent better value on the dollar for the structures and responsiveness to their overall needs."
