WorldWater Corporation Shipping Additional $1.3 Million of Solar Equipment to California College Job Site


PENNINGTON, N.J., April 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- WorldWater Corp. (OTCBB:WWAT) announced today it will ship an additional $1.3 million of photovoltaic equipment to the job site at Cerro Coso College in Ridgecrest, CA over the next two weeks. The Company earlier shipped $1,000,000 of the project equipment to the college in March.

WorldWater is the exclusive PV supplier for the one-megawatt project, which is the largest PV installation on a U.S. college campus. The company will ship six truckloads of solar panels from Sharp Electronics and other equipment to the site by the beginning of May, in keeping with the project's scheduled June completion. Construction on the project began in February.

The total construction contract of $8.9 million was awarded in December to Contra Costa Electric of Bakersfield, CA, which selected WorldWater for the PV systems supply. The project is expected to supply between 50 and 60 percent of the total electricity requirements of the college.
