Swedish Civil Aviation Administration is new Song Networks customer

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Song Networks Holding AB's (Stockholmsborsen: SONW) Swedish subsidiary Song Networks Svenska AB has signed an agreement with the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration for delivery of directly connected telephony. The new business transaction was concluded following a sub-order from the Swedish Agency for Public Management agreement in which Song Networks offered the best combination of high operational reliability and a low price. The agreement runs for 2 years, with an option to extend it for a further year and has a total value of SEK 14,2 million.

"We are delighted to have the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration as a customer," said Mats Almgren, Sales and Marketing Director of Song Networks. "Their activities call for a high level of availability and operational reliability. It is even more satisfying to be able to meet their requirements and also offer a solution which allows cost savings," he continued.

The agreement will provide the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration with directly connected telephony based on Song Networks' own fiber network. Under the agreement, Arlanda will have a redundant solution that contributes towards operational reliability.

"We chose Song Networks because they had the best offer. We look forward to having the new solution on site," said Sven-Goran Karlson, Procurement Manager at the Swedish Civil Aviation Administration.
