Xerox Displays Available From Ingram Micro

'Best Performing Distributor in 2003' Now Carrying Xerox Flat-Panel LCD Displays

GARDEN GROVE, Calif., April 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Xerox(r) high-performance, flat-panel displays are now available from Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM), a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company.

Ingram Micro, the "Best Performing Distributor in 2003," according to CRN Magazine's Sourcing Study, will distribute all 12 flat-panel Xerox displays including the 3 Series, 5 Series and 7 Series to resellers in the United States. With a slender, 1.5-inch form factor, quick response time and wide viewing angle, the 15-, 17- and 19-inch LCD monitors -- starting at $431 -- are ideal for business, educational and home computer viewing applications.

"The Xerox flat-panel monitors broaden our LCD display offering with mid- to high-range products backed by a trusted brand name," said Jim Harr, vice president, product management, Ingram Micro North America. "The displays also complement our existing Xerox document solutions line, allowing our resellers to leverage the brand's strength to provide their customers with a total office space solution."

The computer displays offer consumers stylish PC- and Macintosh(r)-compatible monitors with both black and silver chassis, digital video interface for better video response time, wall-mounting capabilities, and high contrast ratios, which make colors more saturated and provide superior image quality. The 7 Series also features a protective anti-glare glass cover, which provides extra LCD protection with sophisticated visual flair.

Xerox LCD displays are Xerox Corporation's first entry into the stand-alone monitor sector via a trademark-licensing program with Proview Technology, Inc. Through its licensing agreement, Xerox oversees quality assurance-from manufacturing to customer service-to bring the latest technology to consumers and businesses.

"We are pleased to introduce Xerox displays through a leading global distributor such as Ingram Micro," said Erin Rippee, vice president of marketing at Proview Technology, Inc. based in Garden Grove, Calif. "Ingram Micro is a recognized leader in technology and consumer electronics distribution, and we are confident these displays will be a highly successful part of their product offerings."
