eGames Maintains Six Titles Within Top 50 PC Games


LANGHORNE, Pa., April 23, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames, Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of Family Friendly(tm), affordable consumer entertainment PC software games, today announced that six of its games were in the overall Top 50 PC game titles ranked by units sold at retail for the month of March 2004, matching its record in February and up from four titles in January. The eGames best-seller, DROP!, maintained its strong sales momentum and placed number 8 in March for U.S. retail markets, according to NPD Techworld (NPD).

In addition to DROP!, eGames had the following five titles ranked in the Top 50:



 - 251 Games Collectors Edition, ranked number 14;
 - Solitaire Master 4, ranked number 38;
 - Card & Board Games 2, ranked number 39;
 - Mahjongg Master 5, ranked number 44; and
 - Mahjongg Variety Pack, ranked number 48.

"We are certainly pleased to have maintained our six eGames titles within the Top 50 in our category over the last two months. The top five selling PC titles for March were all long-awaited and heavily promoted introductions by the top publishers in the industry. These titles were either shooter or action genres while DROP! continued to be the top-rated family title," commented Rich Siporin Vice President - Sales and Marketing.
