The Story of Human Survival against Inhuman Odds; New Novel Is a Dramatic Tale of Healing through Unsuspecting Ways

COTTONDALE, Ala., April 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Time does not heal all wounds. The wound may heal in time but the pain can always remain. Quentin Davis's Snuff Dipper's Ball is a dramatic novel about domestic violence, pain, and surviving it all.

The protagonist of the story, Andrew, shared a great deal of pain and a dark secret with his mother, but now she is dead and Andrew dreads more than mourns over his mother's death. One reason would be his sister Nadine, who continues to be a thorn in his side because of her conniving. Attending the funeral proves difficult for Andrew, who is anxious for it to finish, so that he never has to return. But while the funeral procession travels down strange, yet familiar roads to the cemetery, Andrew is flooded with memories that slowly waltz him into a trance.

Snuff Dipper's Ball is an electrifying story about surviving pain, abuse, and abandonment. Author Quentin Davis based his novel's plot on true stories. Snuff Dipper's Ball, in fact, was a real dancehall in Huntsville, Alabama. Davis brilliantly pens a depressing story that will deeply stir the hearts of readers.
