GARDEN GROVE, Calif., April 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Xerox(r) 7 Series flat-panel monitor set is now available at Best Buy, North America's leading specialty retailer of consumer electronics, personal computers, entertainment software and appliances.

"We are pleased to provide our products through North America's leading consumer electronics retailer," said Erin Rippee, vice president of marketing at Garden Grove, Calif.-based Proview Technology, an approved licensee of Xerox. "Our relationship with Best Buy provides an ideal platform to launch Xerox's high-end flat-panel displays."

Xerox Corporation's 7 Series - consisting of two LCD monitors - combines a stylish, ultra-thin - 1.5-inch - design with rich colors and crystal-clear images. The flat-panel monitors also include an anti-glare glass cover for added LCD protection and visual enhancement. For added durability, the monitors also feature alloy metal stands and necks.

"We believe customers who are seeking to upgrade their CRT monitors are focusing on LCD monitors, which are trendier and visually more appealing," said Wendy Fritz, vice president of computing for Best Buy.

The leading retailer has approximately 760 stores throughout the United States and Canada and sells products through its Web site at BestBuy.com.

Through its 600:1 contrast ratio, the 19-inch XG90 model offers vibrant colors and superior image quality. The display also touts a 25-millisecond (ms) response time for improved video reproduction and 170-degree viewing angle for clearer pictures from extreme angles. The XG90 is available for $749 with a $50 mail-in rebate (all rebates restricted to one model purchase per customer each month).
