Berling and Alexander V. Lagerborg to serve on its board of directors.
"Charles J. 'Chuck' Berling is a commercial real estate development, 'deal making' veteran with over 25 years experience," said Alex Lagerborg, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. "He is presently Director of Real Estate for All Terrain Property Funds and owns and manages Berling Equities LLC, a real estate development, consulting, and real estate services company. Mr. Berling also serves as a member of the board of directors of Matrix Capital Bank, he is a member of the Urban Land Institute, and the University of Colorado Real Estate Council. Chuck formerly served as a senior executive with Homart Development Co., Glacier Park Co., and Beta West Properties. Chuck is a graduate of Princeton University. Chuck has a strong track record of proven business leadership with major corporations and extensive experience in real estate and finance which will provide added depth to our board."
Alex Lagerborg, President and CEO of AARD was also voted to the board of directors. Mr. Lagerborg has nearly 30 years business experience and has been involved with the Company since its inception. Mr. Lagerborg has a background in real estate and a broad base of experience in public companies and in managing financial relationships. Mr. Lagerborg served as President of Capital Strategies Network, a company that provided investor relations counsel to publicly traded companies. He also served as the Executive Vice President and co-founder of Landmark Title Services Corporation, a regional title insurance company. Mr. Lagerborg earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Colorado College in Economics and has done graduate work in business at Southeast Missouri University.
Berling and Lagerborg fill the vacancies created by the resignation of Mr. Michael McCloskey and Mr. Brian Klemsz.
