Communication Synergy Technologies, Inc. Unveils New State-of-the-Art Workflow Process at Award Winning Upstate New York Radiology Practice

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communication Synergy Technologies Inc. (ComSynTech) (Pink Sheets:CSYT), a developer of document management solutions, today announced the integration of its new x-ray film tracking module, FilmTRAC, into its InFORM(tm) radiology practice management platform at the Borg Imaging Group in Rochester, New York.

The Borg Radiology Group is recognized regionally as a premier imaging practice and is the only radiology practice in New York State to receive the state's prestigious Empire State Advantage (ESA)* award for quality management and health care delivery processes.

The practice has seven multi-modality offices and has been using ComSynTech's InFORM(tm) practice management solution, developed by its subsidiary MedSynTech, for the past seven years. The development of the new module is the result of an ongoing forward-looking relationship between the diagnostic imaging practice and MedSynTech.

FilmTRAC provides a level of film security previously unattainable in the industry. Using powerful software engines, the module integrates seamlessly with existing MedSynTech components, such as the digital clinical report archive, ViewDOC(tm).

The new FilmTRAC module complements an array of essential radiology workflow functions developed by MedSynTech, including Clinical Diagnostic Reporting, Digital Report Archiving, Breast Imaging Reporting, Practice Performance, and FaxLOG, assuring information transmission integrity.

According to James Schuster, M.D., Managing Partner of the Borg Imaging Group, " ...the InFORM(tm) solution has streamlined our complex practice workflow while containing cost and dramatically improving performance."

Dr. Schuster goes on to state, "...the new FilmTRAC module enhances existing InFORM(tm) efficiencies by instantly monitoring our entire process for distributing diagnostic information to our referring physicians."

According to Luke Bernier, Manager of Business Systems for The Borg Imaging Group, "...MedSynTech continues to provide state-of-the-art systems for our very busy practice. The integrated components, ease of use, and intuitive function, are truly impressive. In over seven years of use, the platform has never let us down."

Michael Perrotta, Chief Operating Officer for ComSynTech, views the company's ongoing development processes as a "continuation of its commitment to help reduce the costs associated with medical diagnostic practice, while providing the means to deliver information promptly and accurately, enabling referring physicians to save time and to deliver improved care. The new FilmTRAC module adds another dimension to this equation by eliminating the potential for loss of critical diagnostic information."

The market opportunity for MedSynTech information systems is $2 billion for imaging practices and another $4 billion for other medical specialty fields into which the company plans to migrate after penetrating the radiology market.
