Environmental Technologies to Establish Pan-Asian Marketing Network

TUCSON, Ariz., May 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Environmental Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:EMTI) is pleased to announce that Company director Basil Meecham has just returned from a very successful trip throughout Asia. Mr. Meecham had extensive meetings with several prospective distributors who have expressed a strong interest in representing EMTI and its exciting product line throughout China, Japan, and the entire Southeast Asian region. The near-term goal is to establish a network of distributorships throughout the area that will participate in the market introduction of the Company's Computer Guard device, to be then followed by other products currently being readied for commercial launch thereafter.

Mr. Meecham also had several valuable meetings during his trip with a number of large manufacturers that are potential suppliers for the Company's outsourcing program for a variety of quality components. The outsourcing of a wide variety of components will bring very significant economic benefits and operational efficiencies to Environmental Technologies as it establishes itself in the global High-Tech Security Industry.

Computer Guard directly addresses what has emerged in recent years as an international epidemic -- theft of laptop computers and the countless billions of dollars of valuable and critical data they contain. Essentially, the Computer Guard System protects the user's information by rendering the computer useless whenever the authorized user is away from the machine. Environmental Technologies believes that the very low price of Computer Guard, at approximately $50.00 retail, will facilitate rapid market penetration and the capture of a significant share of the dynamic laptop security market in the foreseeable future.

Laptop computer theft results in two distinct types of loss: the value of the actual hardware, usually $2000-$3000 per unit (the FBI estimates that 97% of stolen computer equipment is never recovered) and; the much higher cost of the lost data contained on the laptop's hard drive.

Environmental Technologies' products currently being developed for specific market applications include short and long-range detection devices that can be hidden in clothing, or on valuables, and that will emit signals to loved ones or owners of articles and valuables for purposes of Identifying, Locating, Tracking, and Retrieving.
