Capital Hill Gold to Commence Drilling and Trenching in Arizona

STUART, Fla., May 5, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Capital Hill Gold (OTCBB:CAGI) will commence drilling and trenching on its Mexican Hat Property, near Pierce, Arizona on May 10th, 2004. The current program is being managed by Norm Pearson and supervised by Charles K. Ikona, P.Eng, a senior managing partner of Pamicon Developments Ltd., Canadian Mining Consultants.

The known mineralization occurs as free gold on fractures along with hematite and limonite in a series of tertiary rhyolite and brecciated volcanics. Previous work by Placer Dome traced the Victoria zone north-westerly for 2,400 feet, 8 trenches along 1,400 feet of strike exposed some very good grades, 23 of which were over 10 grams, including several over 100 grams. Samples were cut at continuous 5 foot intervals along the trenches. The 16 zone, which lies about 800 feet to the north is not as well exposed, however, drill holes have cut good values. For example, RC.MH57 intersected 165 feet of 4.4 grams, including the top 25 feet of 20 grams of gold. RC.MH16 intersected from 155 to 200 feet a 45 foot section running 1.55 grams, from 200 to 235 feet a 35 foot section running 49 grams, and from 235 to 335 feet a 100 foot section running 1.77 grams. There is an excellent potential to expand gold reserves along strike and at depth in the known structures (Victoria and 16 zones) as well as additional unexplored areas of known showings.

Initially, the 2004 exploration drilling program (contracted to Boart Longyear) will test the Victoria zone extension and the 16 zone trenching will test Placer Dome's previous results.
