IVC Upgrades Digital Vision Image Processing to HD RGB


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 06, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The US based company IVC (International Video Conversions, Inc.) has, as the first customer, ordered HD 4:4:4 RGB upgrades of three existing DVNR Image Processing Workstations from Digital Vision AB.

As announced earlier, Digital Vision will support the HD 4:4:4 RGB format for their DVNR HD Image Processing Workstation. The new product will be launched during the third quarter of 2004.

The DVNR HD is a real-time image processing workstation that can be equipped with processing options from a toolbox consisting of Grain & Noise Reduction, Dirt & Scratch Concealment, Colour Correction and more.

Headquartered in Burbank, CA, IVC High Definition Data Center is one of the world's largest HD mastering, restoration and conversion facilities. IVC has been a pioneer of and continues to break new ground in HD and Data Services.

Digital Vision's business concept is to offer state-of-the-art technology and products to clients in film/video, multimedia and the distribution of digital television:


 -- Media Mastering, e.g. the digital mastering of feature films, TV-
    shows and commercials and the adaptation of these to DVD
