Anders Leideman New President & CEO of Trio AB


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 07, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Anders Leideman (45) has been appointed new President and CEO of Trio AB. He will assume his position no later than September 1, 2004.

Mr. Leideman comes from the position as Senior Vice President with United Pan-Europe Communications (UPC) in Amsterdam; a provider of television, Internet access, and telephony services to over eight million customers in eleven countries in Europe; where he over the last three years has been responsible for the Telephony Business Line across Europe. Prior to this assignment, he was Vice President of Business Development and Finance of UPC's wireless division. Mr. Leideman' has more than 16 years of experience in the mobile communications and telecoms industry, including 8 years of business development and establishment of new ventures in the area of mobile network operations and fixed wireless opportunities in several countries throughout Europe.

Mr. Leideman holds an MSc in Engineering from Chalmers Technical University.

Michael Stubbing, acting CEO of Trio, will resume his responsibility as Division Head for Trio's Enterprise Division when Anders Leideman starts in his new position.
