Vianeta Appoints New VP of Engineering


SAN JOSE, Calif., May 11, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Vianeta Communications, a leading provider of XML-based solutions for health information management, has appointed Ramesh Jayaraman as Vice President of Engineering. An 18-year veteran of the software industry, Jayaraman will expand and quicken Vianeta's product development efforts as the company responds to growing demand from healthcare enterprises for solutions to efficiently create, access and safeguard protected health information.

As founder and vice president of development and product management at AikiaSoft, Inc., Jayaraman developed a patent-pending technology to manage and synchronize master data across disparate applications. He also served as director of architecture in the CRM Division at PeopleSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT) (Pleasanton, Calif.), and as senior director of customer service applications-TeleService, iSupport, etc., at Oracle Corporation (Nasdaq:ORCL) (Redwood Shores, Calif.).

Jayaraman will accelerate Vianeta's product development initiatives to leverage the company's growing traction among medical records administrators. The San Jose resident earned an MBA from San Jose State University, and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Madras (India).
