Thinkpath Announces new VP of Engineering


TORONTO, May 13, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Thinkpath Inc., (OTCBB:THTHF), a global provider of engineering solutions in engineering knowledge management, including design, build, on-site support, technical publishing, and consulting is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Alan McKim, P.Eng. as Vice President of Engineering in our Toronto Office. Alan comes to us from Northrop Grumman Canada Corp. where he was Engineering Manager and brings with him 20 years of engineering experience primarily in the consulting industry. His expertise includes automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery, specialty equipment, litigation, nuclear and even the entertainment business. He assumes complete responsibility for all Engineering projects in Canada as well as the co-ordination of cross border projects

Alan will be utilizing his developed skillset in the computer simulation field to build upon Thinkpath Inc.'s strong offering in engineering design. Particular expertise relates to structural / thermal / dynamic finite element analyses as related to the development and problem resolution of products. Alan has led teams involved in the development of complete systems ranging from components for the International Space Station to new energy absorbing bus bumpers, from a heavy duty pick-up truck suspension and chassis to biomedical test equipment. He has been involved in failure analysis cases for the entertainment, mining, automotive and general equipment industries. This will provide a complete offering to Thinkpath Inc.'s customers in the structural / mechanical discipline. He earned a M.A.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering as well as a B.A.Sc. in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from the University of Toronto.
