American Multiplexer Corp. "AMC" (Pink Sheets:AMUT) makers of the "eFotoXpress" software, announced after the closing bell Monday that it is in negotiations with GENTEC -- Canada's largest distributor of software and hardware related products. GENTEC distributes thousands of products to major retail chains and independent retailers throughout Canada. The agreement, which is expected to be executed shortly, will make eFotoXpress software available throughout Canada. Shipment of eFotoXpress software is expected to commence immediately following execution of the agreement with GENTEC. AMC has completed the shipment of the eFotoXpress software to CompUSA. The product will be initially available in 20 test stores. Negotiations are also in process with NACSCORP -- a major distributor to colleges. AMUT currently trades at around .35 a share.
On the Nasdaq, Proxim Corporation (Nasdaq:PROX), a global leader in wireless networking equipment for Wi-Fi and broadband wireless networks, announced on Monday that Proxim and its partner, Forth Research Institute, a subsidiary of DaTang Telecom Inc., have been awarded a frame contract by China Telecom to provide point-to-multipoint broadband wireless solutions in 10 provinces in China. PROX saw some heavier than usual volume Monday of 4,800,572 to end at $1.46, UP 0.19 (14.84%).
One OTCBB stock that saw some volume and up movement was Force Protection, Inc. (OTCBB:FRCP). Force Protection stated on Monday that Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has announced that the U.S. military has signed a contract to purchase 21 Buffalo Mine Protected Clearance Vehicles (MPCVs) from the company's Technical Solutions Group (TSG) subsidiary. FRCP saw some heavier than usual volume Monday of 13,409,062 to end at $0.29, UP .025 (9.43%).
