Wall Street News Alert -- U.S. Hot Stock Highlights -- May 18

WESTON, Fla., May 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Wall Street News Alert's "stocks to watch" this morning are: Digital Rooster.com Ltd. (OTCBB:DGRLF), USG Corporation (NYSE:USG), Glamis Gold Ltd. (NYSE:GLG) and Gateway Inc. (NYSE:GTW).

Aggressive investors and traders will want to watch Digital Rooster.com Ltd. (OTCBB:DGRLF) again this morning! Yesterday after the markets closed, the company issued a press release announcing that it and Avrada have acquired 25% of the full European deployment rights to the High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) device that currently runs their platform in North America!

This could be great news for shareholders! According to the press release and as previously announced, the device is a hybrid telephone/laptop offering HSIA and is manufactured, installed and maintained by a private joint venture partner. Avrada currently has a contractual right to operate its technology platform, which is limited to adult advertising, entertainment and content in Hotel Rooms across North America.

The acquisition of the European interest includes more than just the delivery of adult related services, 100% of which will be under contract to DigitalRooster and Avrada. It also includes the right to participate in revenue from the actual distribution of the devices, the monthly service contracts as well as all mainstream services. An interest equaling 25% has been secured.

Keep your eyes on this company! According to the press release, based on initial sales figures from North American operations and the fact that a faster and enhanced multimedia generation of the device is slated to come out this year, revenue is projected to exceed $100 USD per room per month, a significant portion of which will come from adult services. The applications for this unique device could transcend the hospitality industry but that will be the initial focus for Europe.

"With millions of hotel rooms in Europe and being first to market with a device like this, there will be significant room for rapid growth," said Lex van Arem, CEO of DigitalRooster. "Even a few percent of the total market makes this a very significant venture for us as every 10,000 rooms is projected to generate in excess of $1,000,000 per month with a healthy profit margin."

Yesterday the stock closed at twenty-seven cents a share.

Commentary:

"This week OPEC, the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, will meet in Amsterdam, informally. The proposal from Saudi Arabia is to raise output by 1.5 million barrels a day. The president of OPEC stated he is concerned that the high price of oil could slow down the global growth, but also believes that the current 13-year high in oil prices is out of their control. Hey, OPEC, can your spell HYBRID? (Just a thought)," stated Sonja Rudd in Wall Street News Alert's daily commentary continued at: http://www.WallStreetNewsAlert.com.
