eMax Corp and ReDOX Technology Corp Unwind Merger Agreement

ORLANDO, Fla., May 24, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- eMax Corporation (Pink Sheets:EMAX) today announced that subsequent to its May 24th morning press release regarding the restructuring and name change of eMax Corporation, the company has today received notice via email from legal counsel for ReDOX Technology Corp (OTCBB:RDOX) demanding a "retraction" on the part of eMax Corp with regard to the reported planned merger between its subsidiary company, eMax Net, Inc. and ReDOX Technology Corp. eMax Corporation relied, and had continued to rely, upon information provided by the current and prior officers and directors of ReDOX for the preparation of its press releases which contained references to ReDOX.

Accordingly, irrespective of whatever developments and positions that may or may not be held by ReDOX Technology, eMax Corp and its subsidiary eMax Net, Inc. will not pursue any manner of business relationship with ReDOX Technology and hereby formally retract any and all letters of intent and agreements written or oral between the respective companies. From this point forward neither eMax Corp nor eMax Net should be considered to have any relationship whatsoever with ReDOX Technology Corp, its officers or directors.

Further, eMax Corp is hereby restating our last release with regard to the business plans for its eMax Net, Inc. subsidiary. Given what was, until now, an entirely unknown position on the part of ReDOX Technology Corp. and the complications we have experienced with our attempts at reverse mergers with other public shells, eMax Net has determined that it would be less costly and clearly more practical to the benefit of our shareholders for the company to directly seek listing on the OTCBB versus any further attempts at reverse merger.

This press release contains certain forward-looking statements within the meaning of Section 27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 21E of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, which are intended to be covered by the safe harbors created thereby. Investors are cautioned that all forward- looking statements involve risks and uncertainties.
