Legend Mobile Continues Development Into Growing U.S. Text Messaging Market

DETROIT, May 25, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Legend Mobile Inc. (OTCBB:LGMB) today announced continuing development of its line of mobile data product line including an updated version of Racemobile.com, Arena Football Mobile, and Choppermobile.com. A recently released industry survey indicated that one third of US mobile owners or approximately 33 million people are now using their handsets for text messaging.

The company is currently completing development of a new version of Racemobile.com, which is one of the first mobile data services dedicated exclusively to motorsports. In addition to the subscription-based text message service that brings fans a daily message about stock car racing for $2.95 per month, Racemobile.com will continue to sell mobile accessories including merchandise licensed by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Mark Martin, Kevin Harvick, Ryan Newman, Dale Jarrett, and Tony Stewart. The improved Racemobile.com is expected to launch by June 15, 2004. The motorsports fan base in the United States is estimated to be in excess of 70 million.

Legend Mobile is also developing a mobile portal called Choppermobile.com. Choppermobile.com will offer millions of motorcycle enthusiasts a mobile information service that will deliver up-to-the-minute news, event updates, and chopper inspired ringtones. After text messaging, ringtones are the most popular mobile application for consumers.

The company recently revised and extended its relationship with the Arena Football League. The AFL is concluding its second season on NBC television. The agreement to broadcast Arena Football League games was extended by the league and the television network.

The mobile industry study also indicated that 57% of text messaging users are between the ages 18-25 and more likely to be male. Additionally, the study observed that 2% of all US mobile phone users were prompted to use text messaging from a television show or radio program. A subsidiary of Legend Mobile, Inc., Legend Studios, Inc., has announced its intention to acquire certain small-market radio stations. Legend Mobile anticipates that if those acquisitions close, Legend Mobile would use Legend Studios' radio time to promote mobile applications.
