ECSI Receives $200,000 in Orders from U.S. Air Force IBDSS Contractors

CLIFTON, N.J., May 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- "ECSI" (Electronic Control Security, Inc. (OTCBB:EKCS) a leading provider of electronic security systems to governments and corporations, today announced it has received $200,000 in orders over the last three months for its IPID(r) systems.

ECSI announced on August 25, 2003 it was awarded along with Northrop Grumman Corp, EER Systems Incorporated, and Abacus Technology Corp an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery contract valued at $498,000,000 for the US Air Force IBDSS program which will result in a multiple award contract vehicle for satisfying all the Force Protection Command and Control Directorate's acquisition requirements for five years.

The $200,000 in orders was to supply two of the other U.S.A.F. prime contractors with ECSI International's, a wholly owned subsidiary of ECSI, infrared perimeter intrusion detection (IPID(r)) systems for the U.S. Air Force's Integrated Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) program. It is expected that the IBDSS program is to upgrade overall security at over 100 U.S.A.F. facilities, up from 38, over the next five years representing a significant opportunity for ECSI. ECSI has established solid relationships with the two large system integrators who won IBDSS contracts. ECSI will supply them with its technologies.

Arthur Barchenko, President and CEO of ECSI states, "We are very pleased to be involved in the IBDSS program. Not only is ECSI a prime contractor, but, we are supplying our technologies to the other prime awardees. The IPID(r) system is effective, reliable and has been validated throughout the Middle East, Southwest Asia and Europe. It's a natural product for IBDSS security."

Selection as a preferred technology solution provider for this important program builds on the company's prior success of the IPID(r) series in the Air Force's Tactical Automated Sensor System (TASS) program. TASS protects critical forward installations and troop deployments in high-threat environments.
