FORT LEE, N.J., June 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Caprius, Inc. (OTCBB:CAPR) announced that effective May 25, 2004, Dr. Jeffrey L. Hymes was appointed as a Director to the Company's Board.
Dr. Hymes, a native of Utica, New York and a graduate of Yale College received his MD degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and served his medical internship and residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center. His subspecialty training in nephrology was at Boston University.
Dr. Hymes co-founded National Nephrology Associates (NNA), a privately held dialysis company, until its acquisition by Renal Care Group in April 2004. Dr. Hymes previously served as NNA's President and Chief Medical Officer.
