BNP Paribas Hires Managing Director For U.S. Leveraged Finance Group


NEW YORK, June 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- BNP Paribas (Pink Sheets:BNPQY) is pleased to announce the hire of Geoffrey A. Manna as Managing Director in BNP Paribas' Leveraged Finance Group. He will report to Kathryn Swintek, Head of BNP Paribas' U.S. Leveraged Finance Group, based in New York.

Manna is a U.S. leveraged finance veteran with over 15 years' experience in the financial services industry, including nearly ten years in investment banking positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and Deutsche Banc Alex Brown. Most recently, he served for five years at CSFB as Director and Team Leader in their U.S. Financial Sponsors Group, and prior to that served at DBAB as Vice President in their U.S. Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors Group.
