HUNT VALLEY, Md., June 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Millennium Chemicals (NYSE:MCH) ("Millennium") announced today the following price increases for vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) effective July 1st, 2004, or as contracts allow.



 US & Canada:                         $0.05/lb

 Central & South America:             US $110/metric ton

 Africa & the Middle East & Turkey:   US $110/metric ton

 Asia:                                US $110/metric ton

 Europe (T2 material):                Euro 100/metric ton
