Houston Business Journal Captures the Spirit of Pediatric Prosthetics, Inc.

HOUSTON, June 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- With the Houston Business Journal article about Pediatric Prosthetics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PDPR) re-printed in both the Dallas Business Journal, and the Washington Business Journal, the financial communities of these cities have contacted PDPR management to offer assistance with the growth required to meet the needs of the kids across the country. (The full article can be read in: (www.kidscanplay.com) in the Investor Relations section.)

One funds manager contacted the Vice President of Operations, Kenneth Bean and asked: "Do I understand correctly that there are a thousand additional children born each year requiring prosthetic care in the $15 million dollar per year range?" The answer of course is an absolute "yes", and it is a cumulative need. Each year all of these children need to be refit due to growth. They need those annual refittings through at least their thirteenth birthdays creating an on-going accounts receivable for the Company.

The Business Journals questioned President, Linda Putback-Bean even more carefully, only to discover that many children born with a limb loss over the last several years have not received prosthetic care because their parents simply could not find adequate pediatric prosthetic care. "These children from birth to age thirteen represent a national need on the order of $200 million dollars per year. We intend to do everything in our power to meet the needs of the children and we are going to move to a level that will enable us to service the needs of our clients, nation wide."
