Stormwater Management, Inc. Adds New Senior Regional Manager to Southwest United States

Addition of stormwater disinfection expert allows company to provide comprehensive support for the region


PORTLAND, Ore., June 17, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stormwater Management, Inc. (SMI), the leader in the stormwater treatment industry, announces the addition of Richard Haimann, P.E., as Senior Regional Manager in the southwest. Haimann, a stormwater disinfection expert, brings over 15 years' consulting experience in the stormwater and wastewater industries, and has worked extensively with municipalities and private companies to implement site remediation programs.

Haimann joins Will Harris and Neil Erickson to provide comprehensive support for customers throughout California, Nevada, and Hawaii. He will also provide focused support for regulatory customers in this area, working with regulatory agencies to achieve their stormwater requirements.

Before joining SMI, Haimann's consulting practice, Sustura Environmental Systems, delivered innovative technological and management solutions for storm and surface water quality, water body pollution management, wastewater treatment, hazardous site cleanup, and groundwater resources management. He also provided consulting and engineering support at EarthTech, CH2M Hill, and Dames & Moore.

Haimann holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, an M.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. in Technology Management from Pepperdine University. He has been a registered civil engineer in the State of California since 1993.
