TeliaSonera and NCC Sign a Nordic Agreement on Voice Services

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 18, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- TeliaSonera has signed a Nordic agreement on the delivery of fixed- network and mobile voice services to NCC. The agreement spans two years, and it is valued at SEK 120 million.

According to the deal, further agreements on service-specific solutions and mobile data solutions, for example, can be drafted and signed afterwards.

"Building is a special line of business, and it's a challenge to provide a solution that meets the requirements of functionality, efficiency and ease-of-use. We're very pleased that our Nordic focus has attracted the attention of our customers -- it's an indication that we're heading the right direction," says Terje Christoffersen, Group Vice President Marketing Products & Services, TeliaSonera AB.

Purchasing issues will be a cornerstone in NCC's change process over the next few years. Co-ordination of administrative purchases, such as telecom services, at the Nordic level yields major volume benefits to NCC.

"TeliaSonera was the partner that could offer us the best Nordic solution," says Alf Goransson, President and CEO of NCC.

NCC is one of the leading construction and property development companies in the Nordic region. NCC had in 2003 sales of SEK 45 billion, with 24,000 employees.
