Eleven Wireless and Nomadix Partner to Enable Kimpton Hotels to Deploy Wi-Fi Service at all of its Properties

Wi-Fi Rollout Provides Free, Easy-to-Use Wireless Internet Access to Hotel Guests

PORTLAND, Ore. and WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Eleven Wireless, an emerging provider of Wi-Fi operations software, and Nomadix, a leading supplier of Public-access solutions, today announced they have partnered to enable Kimpton Hotels, a stylish boutique hotelier with properties across North America, to deploy its own high-speed Public-access networks at all of its properties. The rollout, which will include all of Kimpton's 39 properties, leverages Nomadix' HotSpot Gateway(TM)(HSG) and Universal Subscriber Gateway IITM (USG II) along with Eleven's managed operations software, ElevenOS, to provide customers with easy-to-use wireless access in guest rooms, meeting rooms, lobbies and restaurants.

ElevenOS, running in conjunction with Nomadix' turn-key, high performance gateway platforms, enables Kimpton to offer multiple service levels of Wi-Fi and in the future, guest authentication through hotel property management systems. The software also leverages Nomadix' patented Dynamic Address Translation(tm) (DAT) technology, offering transparent network connectivity by resolving IP configuration and browser proxy issues to provide seamless connectivity for guests from the moment they log on.

"Kimpton's IT team wanted to deliver a high-quality, manageable and easy-to-use Wi-Fi network," said Andrew Yorra, vice president of sales and business development for Eleven. "Nomadix' Gateways in conjunction with ElevenOS provide a best-in-class Wi-Fi solution to meet Kimpton's needs."

"Partnering with Eleven raises the level of innovation and increases the competitiveness of both parties within the Public-access industry," said Kurt Bauer, senior vice president, field operations for Nomadix. "This is a major deployment across all of Kimpton's properties, and will increase our global footprint, reinforcing Nomadix as the leading provider of Public-access in the hospitality industry."
