Kinnevik Buys Shares in Millicom


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Industriforvaltnings AB Kinnevik ("Kinnevik") with subsidiaries today announced that it has bought 1,550,000 shares in Millicom International Cellular S.A. ("Millicom"). After the transaction, Kinnevik with subsidiaries holds 29,838,648 shares in Millicom, representing 33.5 percent economic and voting interest.
