PocketSpec Technologies, Inc. Announces First Sale to New Distributor of $114,000 in Products and Software

Polish Government Reviewing PocketSpec's New Software as Possible Standard

DENVER, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- PocketSpec Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:PKSP) announces that it reached an agreement with a veteran of the plastics industry to distribute its products, including its latest software system, the ColorQA Pro System II, a software system that will satisfy color quality assurance needs of the plastics and other industries. The agreement was made between PocketSpec and John Vogel, of New York and now marketing plans are released. Vogel purchased 63 of the ColorQA devices and 50 sets of the newest PocketSpec software in this Agreement. Although pleased with the size of this first sale, what is more valuable going forward, is Mr. Vogel's marketing plan. Vogel is well accomplished in the plastics industry and, as he has served as director of purchasing for Napco Security Systems, Amityville, New York for the past 7 years, PocketSpec will benefit from his many contacts and associations.

Vogel plans to appoint over 20 of the very best product representatives in the near term and will equip each of the reps with PocketSpec's newest $1,780 software system. The Reps will demonstrate this exciting system during their regular sales calls. Although the agreement was only made formal last Friday, plans to appoint representatives in New England and Long Island are already in place.

Jeff Krupka, PocketSpec's General Manager said, "This is a zero-cost, maximum benefit deal for PocketSpec and it's no surprise given the value proposition to industry our products offer."

In other exciting news,, Gregg Wagner a director of PocketSpec and its Chief Technical Officer, announced that the new software is being reviewed by Dr. Merek Wisniewski, of Poland for use in standardizing the color of textiles for export from Poland. Dr. Wisniewski was introduced to Gregg during a visit to Germany, through PocketSpec's German contacts and Gregg believes the new ColorQA Pro System II will satisfy the needs of the SWP, Poland's Textile Association. Dr. Wisniewski, just last week, told Gregg, "the distribution of your product in the countries of Eastern Europe will be possible after success in Poland - through business contacts of the Polish textile firms." Gregg Wagner said, "The upside is very large for PocketSpec, especially if our product becomes the standard in the (textile) industry."
