Asia Premium Television Group Inc. Announces Director Appointments


BEIJING, China, June 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Asia Premium Television Group (OTCBB:ASTV)is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors to its board. Lee Li and Wei Min have accepted positions to the board effective May 15. ASTV's board of directors now consists of five members.

Lee is an economist with degrees from the University of Science and Technology of China. He was Chairman and General Manager of Hua Rong Investment Co. Ltd. from 1996 to 2000. He was also Chairman, then Vice Chairman and General Manager, of Chongqing Changjiang River Water Co. Ltd. from 1997 to 2003. ASTV is pleased that Lee has accepted the position as Chairman of the Board and values the expertise he brings to the company. It is anticipated that Lee will assist the company in restructuring and financing efforts along with maintaining continued growth in media and advertising areas.

Wei has been involved in media and advertising for almost 30 years. From 1996 to 2001, Wei was with Shandong TV Station, initially as Director of Advertising Department and then as Vice President of the station. Since 2001 Wei has been acting as Vice Director of Movie Satellite Channels for the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. The company welcomes Wei to the board and acknowledges his skills and proficiency in the media business. Wei is expected to assist the company with developing in the areas of film and television.
