UgoMedia Interactive Corp (Pink Sheets:UGMI) (name change to Sciax Corporation pending) announced Monday after the close that "the company is working in close cooperation with Richard Wolf GmbH on a 2nd generation C4d under-door viewer for which Wolf is the optical supplier. The C4d is a modular component of the Wolf Pack remote viewing system which allows users to obtain high resolution imagery of areas behind doors in tactical and surveillance environments. When in production, Sciax will manufacture all mechanical components for the C4d and ship required parts to Richard Wolf for the integration of optical systems. Final assembly will be performed by Sciax." Sciax is an emerging leader in defense imaging systems for law enforcement and military personnel engaged in counter-terrorism and other special security operations. NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:NEOM) announced Monday that it has entered into a collaborative agreement with Intel Corporation (Nasdaq:INTC) for NeoMedia's PaperClick(r) mobile connectivity platform to operate on the recently introduced Intel PXA27x processor family-based cellular phones. NEOM traded 63,704,085 shares Monday to end at .11, up .052 a share.
Also gaining big on the Nasdaq Monday was NVE Corporation (Nasdaq: NVEC). NVE announced that the U.S Patent and Trademark Office issued the company a patent for an innovative type of MRAM. Patent number 6,744,086, entitled "Current Switched Magnetoresistive Memory Cell," was granted in June and concerns spin-momentum magnetic memory cells. The patent also relates to thermally-assisted spin-momentum writing. The stock ended at $36.43 Monday, up $10.62.
