News Alert -- PINK SHEETS:ABEW -- MicroTech Trader Re-Launches Coverage of Airbee Wireless and Others in the Wireless Space

DALLAS, June 23, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- MicroTech Trader, a leading source of news and information on small cap technology companies, has re-launched its coverage of Airbee Wireless (Pink Sheets:ABEW) and others in the wireless space.

ABEW shares closed yesterday at $0.37, up more than five percent from the previous close of $0.35 on good volume for the stock. At this price, MicroTech Trader believes it should remain attractive to many small cap investors, given the stock's proven ability to rise above $0.60 a share.

MicroTech Trader has identified a total of three small cap companies in the wireless sector as poised for growth, and is closely monitoring these "stocks to watch" this week. MobilePro (OTCBB:MOBL) has announced a letter of intent to acquire Affinity Telecom, a competitive local exchange carrier and long distance provider based in Bloomfield Hills, MI; the deal is forecast to add more than $6 million to the company's annualized revenue. Meanwhile volume for P-Com (OTCBB:PCOM) has picked up significantly in the past few days, following the announcement of a restructuring of its Italian operations, which the company expects will result in significant cost savings and improved liquidity.

ABEW is a leading developer of intelligent software-based solutions for short range wireless communications. This week, the company announced a co-licensing partnership with Link Plus Corporation (OTCBB:LKPL) for the joint development of a series of new products around the emerging ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 wireless standard; executives at the two companies expect the agreement to reduce time to market significantly for their respective product development programs and to develop a revenue stream of several million dollars per year. ABEW also recently announced the hire of Roger M. Pavane as vice president of marketing and sales; he will be responsible for building a marketing and sales team, and executing the company's marketing plan.

MicroTech Trader believes these announcements point to favorable future news, and it continues to rate ABEW a "Strong Buy" in the wireless space.
