Xerox LCD Displays Now Available from OfficeMax

GARDEN GROVE, Calif., June 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Xerox Corporation's 17- and 19-inch LCD monitors are now available at more than 1,000 OfficeMax(r) stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"Through our partnership with OfficeMax, we now offer the Xerox brand of flat-panel monitors at one of the largest office products retailers in North America," said Erin Rippee, vice president of marketing at Garden Grove, Calif.-based Proview Technology, an official licensee of Xerox. "Xerox flat-panel monitors are premier displays that blend the latest LCD technology and aesthetics, and are supported by industry-leading customer service."

The monitors combine an ultra-thin -- 1.5-inch -- chassis with rich colors and crystal-clear images. The flat-panel monitors also include alloy stands and necks for added durability and mount for wall installation.

"Through the availability of Xerox's LCD monitors, our customers are afforded the option of purchasing a flat-panel display with a premier technology brand known for its quality and innovation," said Ryan Vero, executive vice president of merchandising for OfficeMax.

OfficeMax offers two models of Xerox flat-panel displays, the XL592Ds and the XL370s. To complement its sleek, silver design, the 19-inch XL592Ds model offers a wide viewing angle and high contrast ratio. For greater flexibility of use, the monitor provides digital video or analog inputs. The XL592Ds - available for $599 - also features integrated stereo speakers for clear sound and one-touch auto adjust to simplify use.

In addition to its advanced LCD design, Xerox's 17-inch XL370s monitor includes integrated speakers and one-touch auto adjust. The XL370s is available for $449.

The Xerox display selection includes a three-year limited parts and labor warranty, which includes toll-free customer service and advanced replacement program. The advanced replacement program allows customers the convenience of receiving a replacement monitor before returning the original one, if necessary.
