HARRISBURG, Pa., June 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Worldwide industrial services and products company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) announced today the introduction of a new operating and market identity for its gas containment and control-related businesses under the name Harsco GasServ.

Kaplan.
Harsco GasServ consists of four complementary businesses that together comprise the world's leading network for gas applications involving pressure vessels and precision valves. Under the Harsco GasServ banner, these businesses -- Taylor-Wharton, Sherwood, Structural Composites Industries, and American Welding & Tank -- will market their collective resources and experience using a total solutions perspective to increasingly complex gas containment and control challenges. Harsco announced also that it is renaming its gas-related business reporting segment as the Gas Technologies Segment, formerly known as the Gas and Fluid Control Segment.
