From Genesis to Einstein -- New Book Uses Science and Bible to Explain Mysteries of Life

MELROSE PARK, Ill., July 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- An intriguing book that blends the mysteries of the Old and New Testaments with science, James R. Platt's The Truth of Everything (now available through AuthorHouse) explains the connections between God, men and women and the laws of physics.

Platt likens the energy between a man and woman to the strong forces that bind hydrogen and oxygen to make water, or the protons and neutrons in an atom. God meant for the male and female to act in obedience to his vision and as a product of their interaction, they are able to create a being with X and Y chromosomes that resembles the image of God. God made the heavens and earth in order for this purpose to be fulfilled, Platt writes.

The love between a man and a woman is a no-mass force, much like the forces of gravity and electromagnetism. Platt uses Einstein's formula, E=mc2, and other scientific ideas to illustrate how the physical and the metaphysical are linked. He explores the seven days in which God created the world as written in Genesis and discusses men's and women's interaction with Satan, whom he calls man's only real enemy. The long-awaited theory of everything is discovered and proved.

The Truth of Everything is a fascinating commentary that incorporates the logical and mathematical aspects of science with the abstract and religious ideologies of Christianity.

Platt worked as an attorney and engineer for the city of Chicago. A veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, he earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Notre Dame University and a law degree from DePaul Law School. The Truth of Everything is his first book.
