GTREX, Inc. Appoints Kathy Misunas to its Advisory Board; Past President and CEO of the SABRE Group Will Assist with Marketing and Distribution Strategy


NEW YORK, July 6, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- GTREX, Inc. (OTCBB:GRXI) announced today that it has appointed Kathy Misunas to its Advisory Board. Ms. Misunas, a travel industry veteran, is past CEO of The SABRE Group (NYSE:TSG), a division of American Airlines/AMR (NYSE:AMR), as well as past CIO of American Airlines, Inc. Prior Director roles include Saturn Reservations Systems, Travelocity.com, and Genispace, in addition to current roles at TechData Corporation and Canadian Tire Corporation.

Misunas, a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC), joined American Airlines in 1973, and in 1977 joined the Marketing Automation department which supported the sale and implementation of the company's SABRE computer system to the retail distribution network of travel agents and related suppliers. In 1988 Misunas was named an Officer of the company and President of the SABRE Travel Information Network. In that role, Misunas created a high-impact marketing team and established business locations and relationships throughout the Americas, Europe and the Pacific Rim. She was appointed President and CEO of The SABRE Group and SVP of AMR/American Airlines in 1993. Misunas served on the Executive Committee of the World Travel & Tourism Council -- a global coalition of more than 100 CEO's from all segments of the travel and tourism industry -- is a lifetime member and was a Trustee of the Institute of Certified Travel Agents, and participated in the exclusive technology-related Research Board.

Most recently, Misunas was CEO of AirTreks, a San Francisco-based travel company, and previously CEO of Reed Travel Group. At Reed, Misunas oversaw publications such as OAG, Travel Weekly and Weissmann Travel Reports. Misunas has lectured at major academic institutions and recently co-authored a book: Multi-Channel Distribution: The Essential Guide.
