American Multiplexer Corp. (Pink Sheets:AMUT) announced Tuesday after the closing bell that it has, "executed an exclusive distribution agreement with GENTEC -- Canada's largest distributor of software and hardware related products. GENTEC distributes thousands of products to major retail chains and independent retailers throughout Canada, which includes retailers like BEST BUY, COSTCO and FUTURE SHOPS. The agreement will make eFotoXpress software available throughout Canada. Shipment of eFotoXpress software is expected to commence within 10 days following the execution of the agreement with GENTEC. The Company expects that this agreement will result in the sale of an additional 2,000 copies per month of its eFotoXpress software product." AMUT currently trades at around .23 a share.
On the Nasdaq, World Airways, Inc. (Nasdaq:WLDA), has, "named two vice presidents at the company's headquarters in Peachtree City, Ga. Gary Goodpaster was promoted from director to vice president, flight operations. A 15-year World veteran, Goodpaster is an MD-11 captain and check airman. He had previous experience with United Express. Larry Montford has been named vice president, technical operations. He is responsible for maintenance of World's wide-body fleet of 16 MD-11 and DC-10 aircraft." WLDA traded 5,063,721 shares Monday to end at $4.53 up $0.94 (26.18%).
Also on the Nasdaq trading well Tuesday was DSL.net, Inc. (Nasdaq:DSLN). The stock traded 16,653,528 shares Tuesday to end the day at .31, up .015 (5.08%). DSL.net, Inc. is a leading nationwide provider of broadband communications services to businesses. The Company combines its own facilities, nationwide network infrastructure and Internet Service Provider (ISP) capabilities to provide high-speed Internet access, private network solutions and value-added services directly to small- and medium-sized businesses or larger enterprises looking to connect multiple locations.
