ORLANDO, Fla., July 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- LiveTV LCC, a wholly owned subsidiary of JetBlue Airways (Nasdaq:JBLU), today named Brian Sauer as Vice President of Operations. In this new role, Brian will be responsible for system installation, line maintenance, quality control, quality assurance, safety and training. LiveTV, LLC provides in-flight entertainment systems for airlines including JetBlue, Frontier and WestJet.
"Brian will make a terrific addition to the already strong management team in place with Glenn Latta and Jeffrey Frisco," said Tom Anderson, JetBlue's Senior Vice President, Technical Operations & Aircraft Programs. "His leadership is welcomed as LiveTV continues to add new clients and grow its operations."
Prior to joining LiveTV, Mr. Sauer served for two years as Vice President and General Manager of Timco's Goodyear facility in Arizona. Previously, he was with Northwest Airlines for 19 years, starting as a technician and finally serving as Managing Director, Aircraft Maintenance Operations.
He is attending Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Operations. Brian also holds an Airframe and Powerplant license. He and his family will be relocating from Lakeville, Minnesota to Orlando to work at JetBlue's LiveTV facility.
