Dialysis Corporation of America Opens New Maryland Facility


Linthicum, Md., July 12, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Dialysis Corporation of America (Nasdaq:DCAI) announced the opening of a new facility in Rockville, Maryland, the company's second in the state.

Company president and CEO Stephen Everett commented, "Adding yet another center to our Mid-Atlantic region at this time is directly in line with our strategic plans, and further attests to our commitment of expansion in the Maryland and Virginia markets." The new state-of-the-art facility is centrally located for easy patient access and convenience, has 15 patient treatment stations, and has been designed to enhance patient comfort and safety.

As previously announced, the company has also completed transactions for a new facility currently under construction in Virginia, expected to be opening later this year.

Dialysis Corporation of America owns and operates freestanding kidney hemodialysis centers located in Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia, and provides in-hospital dialysis services on a contract basis to certain hospitals located in the those states.
